Afterschool Chess
An introduction to the game of chess will be held in the Cooper-Clark Room on Thursday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. Although the session will occur during Teen Gaming Night, it is not limited to teens - all ages and skill levels are welcome.

Library and Lunch
Over the noon hour, grab your lunch and join us for a book discussion. The Library and Lunch group meets every second Tuesday of the month. Come join us on Tuesday, February 14 at noon.
The theme is “For the Love of Chocolate” and participants are encouraged to come prepared to discuss their favorite book.

Markie Adcock will be at the library for a book signing of her book "Palomino Blue" on Saturday, January 7 at 10:30 a.m.

Poppa D Clown's Magical Christmas 2011
Join us in the Children's Library for POPPA D. CLOWN'S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS on Wednesday, December 21, at 2 p.m. This program is free to the public and will last approximately 45 minutes. Don't miss out on the fun!
Youngsters ages 4 to 11, plan to join us for our Gingerbread House Decorating Event on Saturday, December 17, at 9:30 a.m. All the things you need to decorate your own unique house will be provided. Reservations are necessary, however, so phone the library @ 626-0180 to reserve your spot.

Teen Advisory Committee
The Teen Advisory Committee is meeting every two weeks on Thursdays. The next session will be on Thursday, January 26 at 4 p.m. for a viewing of an adventure film directed by Robert Rodriguez and the fourth in a kid series.
