The ranch operated, according to Marion W. Eldridge from whom this photo was obtained, from the late 1800s to 1897. His father Marion W. Eldridge, Sr., was foreman from 1892 to 1897. The sr Eldridge then acquired the ranch headquarters site, 160 acres, which his heirs still own (1966). In the photo above, to the right in long coat, man believed to be Col. Hardesty.
