The men are enjoying a friendly card game and a drink along the cattle trail. The time appears to be the late Eighties and no others in the photograph are identified. "Doc" Hagadone was familiarly known by many Texas and Montana cowboys, having ridden the trails as a cowboy many years. Cy Hagadone ranched in Nebraska in his later years.
