You mentioned me taking a add in a magazine, I only have about 350 books lieft and they sell quite fast. I have had a column in a local paper here and get lots of letters wanting books. (next paragraph) If you see fit to run this story that was in the annals of Wyo in one of your magazines you can have the story for the add. I doubt very much if these magazines today the way the have the cowboy undertood by the present day readers, would want an authenic explanation of what a real cowboy wa. Wish I could spell & type. Over (next paragraph) Of course if we still had the wide open spaces, range, and cattle we would still have some dam good cowboys. If you can run this article O.K. Please send me the annals of Wyo back as it is the only one I have. You still have our invitation to visit a couple old timers. Ed

On the Arizona Treasure Map [Arizona Treasure map underlined], published by E.K. Ellis, 72 treasure sites are shown. One [insert sign]local treasure tale tells of two [insert sign]Mexican sheepherders who discovered the skeletons of seven soldiers on the north slope of Mount Ord, Arizona, in the early 1870's. A rich gold ore was found nearby, and the sheepherders packed $30,000.00 of it to Phoenix, then returned to their homes in Old Mexico. It was presumed that the soldiers, while convoying the ore, were attacked and killed by Indians who placed no great value on the metal. Photo courtesy author. (underlined)
